The Very Best Custom Trips to Africa
Planning a safari for an individual, couple, family or small group is an extraordinarily nuanced undertaking. We never take the “one size fits all” approach to planning your safari. We understand that your trip has to fit you precisely in terms of your particular interests, time you have to travel, party size, activity preferences, style preferences and budget.
Home to vibrant Cape Town and Johannesburg, eight world heritage sites and some of the most mind-blowing biodiversity on the planet, South Africa is considered “the cradle of humankind.” Picnic at the peak of Table Mountain, unwind on a secluded safari reserve as animals gather at a nearby waterhole, and pay homage to a great liberator with a visit to Mandela’s cell on Robben Island.
Animal magnetism and contemporary comforts converge in Southern Africa. Witness wildlife up close with an evening canoe ride on Botswana’s lush Okavango Delta, then retreat to a private tented camp harkening back to colonial days. For pure exhilaration, take a dip in the hidden pool above Zambia’s Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Lose yourself in the vastness of “big game” country with an adventure in East Africa. Stargaze beneath the dome of the Laikipia sky, and explore Kenya’s Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. Before leaving, immerse yourself in the bustle of a Maasai marketplace—just one facet of East Africa’s kaleidoscopic tribal culture.
